The Journey: From Artist to Entrepreneur

I’ve been creating since I could hold a brush — from my first art show in 1st grade to winning a school-wide contest in 6th. Art has always been more than expression for me. It’s been a way to make people feel something. To tell stories. To bring ideas to life.

In high school, I started blending art with business — painting windows, murals, and working with local companies to help bring their spaces and brands to life. That’s when I realized:

Creativity could be a business. Art could build brands.

So I shifted gears. I earned a Bachelor’s in Business Marketing from East Carolina University (ECU) — equipping myself with the skills to turn creative vision into something people can experience, share, and support.

What started as Art by Riley Mills has now evolved into Riley Mills Creative Co. — a creative studio focused on bold ideas, storytelling, and turning imagination into reality.

We’ve delivered over 750+ projects for 250+ clients, including names like Crocs, Chick-fil-A, Sonic, and Phoenix University — along with amazing small businesses doing meaningful work in their communities.

From large-scale mural branding and product design to original concepts like the Easter Chicks IP, we specialize in creating moments that captivate and connect.
